Virtual Celebration of Grandparent’s Day
We celebrated Grandparent’s Day on 27th March 2021, Saturday.
जिनकी गोदी में बैठ के दुनिया भूल जाते हैं।।
जिनकी ऊँगली पकड के चलना सीख जाते हैं।।
कभी घोडा तो कभी हाथी बनाकर उनसे अपनी सारी इच्छाएं पूरी करवाते हैं।।
कितने प्यारे होते हैं।।
दादा, दादी,नाना,नानी
जो हम पर ढेरो प्यार लुटाते हैं।।
Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founder of loving legacy, the greatest storytellers and the keepers of tradition. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love & care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them DEMS Pre-primary section celebrated Grandparents Day on Saturday, 27th March 2021.
It is a day that we usually mark with honouring our grandparents, bringing them to school & showing them the various talent their grandchildren have. But this year due to this pandemic situation we have celebrated Grandparents Day virtually. We felt very happy to see all grandparents who took out time for their grandchildren & also participated enthusiastically in various activities arranged by the school like Non fire cooking, Fancy dress, Bhajan/ Kirtan/ Abhang. Though some grandparents stay away from their grandchildren still they participated & performed simultaneously on zoom with great zeal which showcased the special bond they shared. Some grandparents shared their precious moments, stories & also sang songs for the kids.
Our Founder Director Mr S.M.Katkar sir, Secretary Mr.Jayesh Katkar sir , Executive Director Mr. Pradeep Khandave sir & Principal Renuka ma’am Congratulated everyone for the efforts taken behind this event, also encouraged the students & appreciated grandparents enthusiasm. Grandparents Day was a memorable one for the children as well as the grandparents, who left with happy memories, loads of appreciation & heaps of blessings to the school & its staff.
Indeed! It was a successful event!!
