Various Disciplinary Guidelines

  1. At the first bell at 7.15 am M/S & 12.40 p.m. A/S all must immediately form the rows for the Assembly, recite prayers and walk in silence to their class rooms.
  2. On School days and functions, students must wear the school uniform. Those who come to school dressed casually or are dressed in shabby uniform and have unkempt appearance will be sent home. Students having lice / nits in hair will not be allowed in class.
  3. Every student is expected to be present in the school 5 minutes before the school starts at 7.10 a.m. for Morning shift & 12.30 p.m. for Afternoon shift.
  4. Any damage done in the class or in the school premises has to be compensated for the Principal is the sole authority regarding the amount to be paid.
  5. Students must avoid throwing pieces of paper, seeds, rubber, etc., anywhere in the school premises except in the waste baskets.
  6. Book, newspaper or periodical, not approved by the Principal may not be brought to school. Any literature, magazines, books, etc., of an objectionable nature found in possession of the student will result in immediate expulsion of the student from the school.
  7. Writing or scribbling on walls or anywhere else is strictly prohibited.
  8. Silence must be observed in the corridors and on the stairs during class hours. Students should not be found talking in between classroom sessions.
  9. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. Though effort will be made to recover lost articles, the school cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of the books, money or other belongings.
  10. Students are prohibited from wearing valuable chains and rings. Fancy watches are not allowed to be worn in the school and will be confiscated. Students of Std. VIII, IX and X only will be allowed to wear wrist watches.
  11. Strict regularity, implicit obedience, politeness and courtesy in speech and conduct and cleanliness of books, uniform and person are rigidly insisted upon.
  12. Mobile phones are not permitted in the school premises. Any student found carrying a mobile phone will be confiscated.
  13. Students are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct even outside the school. Visits to a restaurant, hotels or other public places in the school uniform or during extra classes are strictly prohibited. Objectionable conduct, whether in or out of the school, is punishable without expulsion.
  14. A student who is unwell should not be sent to school. The school is not responsible for medical attendance of such a student. In case of an emergency, medical fees and transport charges will be borne by the parents. Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are not permitted to attend the school.
  15. Teachers can be interviewed during school hours by parents or guardians only with the prior permission of the Principal and should never be approached at their residence or directly in the classroom.
  16. Presents/gifts to members of the staff or other demonstrations in their honour or holding of picnic or parties or meetings require the Principal’s sanction.
  17. For breach of any school rules, the student may be fined or otherwise punished at the discretion of the Principal.
  18. Every Student must buy a copy of the Calendar at the beginning of the year. The Calendar must be brought to school daily and should be maintained carefully. If the Student misuses his / her calendar or loses it, a new copy is issued to him / her against payment of its cost and an additional penalty prescribed by the Principal. Whenever a student reports to the Principal for any reason whatsoever, he / she must carry his / her calendar with him / her.
  19. A student who comes to school without Calendar will not be admitted to the class and will be marked absent.
