String of love sent to the real hero brothers of our country

To pay tribute to the Indian Army who protects us, Zeal Education Society’s Dnyanganga English Medium School located in Hingne (kh), Sinhagad Rd, Pune organised a unique campaign. We sent some handmade rakhis and greeting cards made by our students to the soldiers on the borders, who exemplify the proverb ‘Service before Self’. All the students from the 5th to the 8th standard participated with much gusto in this activity. Our soldiers were glad to receive this love from our students & in return they sent us a picture tying our rakhis and displaying the students’ greeting cards.

The Principal Mrs Renuka Datta said “the school hopes that these rakhis and cards will definitely boost their morale while accomplishing their duties on the border and give them the feeling that we all are with them. We live our lives peacefully and get a good night’s rest because of the valour and bravery our soldiers show on the frontier”. Founder Dir. Hon. S. M. Katkar and Executive Director Hon. Jayesh Katkar appreciated the efforts and the initiative taken by our students.
