Every year in India, 14th November, the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India, is celebrated as ‘Children’s Day’ with fun-filled and colourful activities.
As we celebrate the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, let us pledge to fulfil the dream cherished by Chacha Nehru for girls and boys, equally. Let us all promise to these budding citizens, to provide a healthy life, parental love, education, and other childhood joys.
Shouldering the responsibility vested by the Hon. Prime Minister, this day at Dnyanganga English Medium School was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. The day began with a grand welcome of Pre-primary Nursery students who cut the ribbon of the function and inaugurated the day’s function. The curious little heads got completely engrossed in the puppet show. The creative hand of tattoo master left the students in awe and wonder. Jumping jack was thoroughly enjoyed by the energetic souls adding joyful moments to the atmosphere. Selfie corner captured ever lasting memories of the kids. One activity unfolding the other made the day mesmerising. Interaction with teachers was the most cherished wish of every student.
Father and Founder Director of Zeal Education Society Mr. S. M. Katkar Sir, Mother of Zeal Education Society, Mrs. Suman Katkar Mam, Principal of Dnyanganga B.Ed and M. Ed College Suryawanshi Sir intermingled with the kids and added a charm to the day. Their strong support and guidance in every school activity made it a grand success. The passionate Principal of DEMS. Mrs. Renuka Datta, Enthusiastic Supervisors and the dedicated school staff contributed to make the celebration a huge success.
Before parting for the day, as a token of love and appreciation, students were gifted with greeting cards crafted by teachers, chocolates, balloons and lifelong memories of the day well- spent.
