An Exciting Visit to the Post Office!
Students of Grades 3 and 4 from Dnyanganga English Medium School had an enriching experience during their recent visit to the local post office. This educational trip provided them with a firsthand understanding of the postal system and the various services it offers.
They also had the opportunity to interact with the postmaster, who patiently explained the importance of the postal service in our daily lives.
Additionally, an engaging activity was conducted for students of Grades 6 to 8 to promote the joy of letter writing in today’s digital age. As part of the Dhai Akhar campaign organized by the Department of Post, India, the students participated in a letter-writing competition, embracing the timeless charm of written communication.
Such experiences not only complement classroom learning but also spark curiosity and a deeper understanding of real-world systems.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the post office for their warm welcome and insightful guidance. We are also grateful to our esteemed President, Mr. S.M. Katkar Sir, Secretary, Dr. Jayesh Katkar Sir, Principal, Ms. Elizabeth David Ma’am, and the Supervisors for their unwavering support and efforts in organizing this informative field trip.
