Independence Day Celebration at Dnyanganga school.

Independence Day is a day we celebrate with pride and patriotism. DEMS celebrated the 72nd Independence Day on 15th August 2018 with great patriotism. The National Flag was hoisted by the chief guest, Vice- President of Zeal Education Society’s Poman Sir. The Founder Director of Zeal Education Society Mr. S. M. Katkar, Mr.Rakesh Katkar Mrs.Jyoti Gosavi Corporator, Sinhagad Road, Principal of DEMS, Teachers, EPTA members, parents and students were present for the flag hoisting ceremony.

The tiny tots of DEMS dressed as freedom fighters of the country like, Rani Laxmi Bai, NetajiSubhash Chandra Bose, Savitri Bai Phule paid tribute through their wonderful speeches. The Choir performed a melodious song turning the atmosphere patriotic. The young and enthusiastic Corporator, Mrs.Gosavi shared the story of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters.

Founder Director and Secretary of Zeal Education Society Mr. S. M. Katkar and Mr Rakesh Katkar made the students aware of civic responsibilities and to serve our motherland, India in the true sense with our dignified deeds.

Principal of the School, Mrs. Renuka Datta delivered the message of doing your bit for society in her speech. She guided the students to follow the ideals of the great people, to serve the nation in your own ways possible and to be an ideal citizen of the country. The program concluded with a heart touching dance performance by the students of DEMS dedicated to our soldiers.

The program ended with Vande Mataram.
