Wellness message marks Raksha-Bandhan at DEMS

We at DEMS give importance to our tradition and culture and believe that our children should be aware of the holy intentions behind celebrating them. Hence, we celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and organized an event to make the students understand the significance of the festival.

After understanding the significance the students showed interest in making handmade Rakhis for their brothers. Through this we inculcate the nature of thanking our loved ones for their eternal love and support in our students. Girls made Rakhis and tied them to their classmates (boys) and the boys gave them a ‘Thank You’ greeting card.

They also tied Rakhis to Fire-brigade officials to pay a vote of thanks for the brave work they do in saving people’s lives without worrying about their own. They also tied rakhis to the school peons and van drivers who play a crucial role as well.

Principal Mrs. Renuka Datta and supervisors graced the occasion helping to catalyze the feeling of care and affection for our dear ones as well as society/community helpers. Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar appreciated the students for their enthusiasm and participation in the event and conveyed his best wishes for the festival. The celebration ended with sweet memories and smile on everyone’s face.
