Guru Pournima Fest in D.E.M.S

Zeal Education society’s Dnyanganga English Medium School celebrated Guru Pournima with great guts and galore on a note:

“It is an incomparable journey where the Guru leads you from the visible to the invisible, from the material to the divine from the ephemeral to the eternal”

The event began with the ceremonial welcome of the Chief guests. Devotional songs and rhythmic Dance performances were showcased by the students on the theme of importance of Guru as Mentor. Students also expressed their thoughts and spoke on the important role played by Guru from ancient times.

The Programme Continued with conferring titles and investing powers to New Prefects, Head Boy and Head Girl in the investiture ceremony where the student cabinet were felicitated with the badges for bearing the responsibility of the school. Student cabinet took oath to shoulder the responsibilities dedicatedly headed by Principal Renuka Datta.

The Chief Guests well known Marathi actor, writer and producer Mr. Dnyanesh Wadekar(afternoon shift) and renowned singer Mr. Tejas Koparkar(morning shift) inspired students with their wisdom thoughts. Mother of Zeal Education Society Mrs. Suman Katkar honored the stage by her gracious presence.

Zeal Education Society’s Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar, Secretary Mr. Jayesh Katkar and advisor Mr. Pradip Khandave sent motivating message to students-‘ When one finds the true Guru, One conquers half the world.’

The programme was a great success under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Renuka Datta and supervisors.
