DEMS students glorified Wagha border by Kathak dance performance!
“Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. The quote was experienced and shared in true sense by the budding Kathak dancers of DEMS.
Students of Dnyanganga English Medium School performed kathak dance at Wagha_Attari border and expressed gratitude towards our brave soldiers, working on the border line of the country through their patriotic dance performances. The work style of BSF was explained in a ceremony, organised by BSF jawans at Wagha_ Attari border of India_ Pakistan on 14th December , 2021, which raised the importance of patriotism among students. During this ceremony , students of Dnyanganga English Medium School Samruddhi Salunke, Anushree Kabdhare, Shalaka Madge and Aditi Jamdade performed graceful Kathak dance on patriotic theme. All the students were guided by dance teacher Mrs. Supriya Jamdade. The jawans, military officers and other audience present there not only appreciated the dance performance but also took a worthy note of the dancer’s drapery. It was a moment of pride and honour for Dnyanganga English Medium School to receive special invitation for the cultural dance presentation during the upcoming year’s cultural function at Wagha _Attari border. Students visited BSF jawan’s museum and learnt about creative workstyle and various weapons.
