Dahi handi

Dahi handi is one of a festival, to celebrate Lord Krishna’s birth on Gokulashtami. On this auspicious day, beautifully decorated Handi (an earthen pot filled with fruits, chocolates and lots of butter (makkhan) is hung in the school premises. All the tiny tots of Dnyanganga come dressed up as Radha and Krishna. Our young Govindas (Krishnas) and Radhas form a pyramid climbing one on top of the other and make all attempts to break the Handi.

Students enjoyed and danced on the beats of Dahi handi songs with great enthusiasm. Founder Director S.M. Katkar, Executive Director Pradeep Khandave, Secretory Jayesh Katkar and Principal Renuka Dutta praised the students and gave them good wishes. Supervisors, all teaching & non-teaching staff were present for the celebration
