Celebration of Independence Day

The 68th Independence Day was celebrated with fervent patriotism in Zeal Education Society’s Dnyanganga English Medium School.The program commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Secretary of Zeal Education Society Mr. Jayesh Katkar, followed by patriotic songs performed by the students after which speeches were delivered by the students and the guests on our great freedom fighters. In fact our tiny tots of the pre-primary and primary section also performed a role-play dressed as great leaders and freedom fighters.
We invited Dr.Abhishek Raje (MD in Ayurveda) for this function who guided the students about how to make India a better country with small deeds. Mr Jayesh Katkar too made the students realize our responsibilities towards our nation. The Founder Director of the school Mr S.M. Katkar also graced the occasion with his presence as did our Principal Mrs Rachana Taware. The program ended on a high note with the national song ‘Vande Mataram’.
