Celebrating Guru Purnima at Dnyanganga English Medium School

Guru Purnima, the festival dedicated to all Gurus, was celebrated on the 24th of July 2023 with enthusiasm and joy at *Dnyanganga English Medium School.* Our students showcased their talents through heart-warming performances, thoughtful speeches, and creative displays, all centered on the theme of respect and gratitude for our teachers. The celebration was followed by an investiture ceremony, during which the Principal of D.E.M.S. administered the oath to the newly elected representatives, including the head girl and head boy.

A special highlight was the tribute paid to the great sage Vedavyasa, who compiled the Vedas and eighteen Puranas, with students performing pooja and chanting mantras in a Vedic style. Respected Principal of D.E.M.S., Ms. Elizabeth David mam, and Principal ofD.E.M.S. Junior College, Mrs. Anuradha Nikam mam, graced the occasion. Zeal Education Society’s founder director Mr. S. M. Katkar Sir, Secretary Dr. Jayesh Katkar Sir, Advisor Mr. Pradeep Khandwe Sir sent their best wishes for the program It was a day filled with inspiration, reflection, and appreciation for the invaluable contributions of our educators.
