DEMS – Winner of ‘YANTROTSTAV-2020’ Online Robotics Competition 2020
ATL students of Dnyanganga English Medium School( Morning Shift) made a working model of ‘SMART WHEEL CHAIR’ for physically and visually challenged students in the school. Wheel Chair is one of the commonly used assistive device to promote mobility and enhance quality of life for people who have difficulties in walking.
The objective behind this is to overcome the difficulties faced by these students while moving in school. They used ultrasonic sensor, smoke sensor, LDR sensor in their model and its motion is controlled through BLUETOOTH OF MOBILE.
Our students participated in ‘YANTROTSTAV-2020’ Online Robotics Competition on 18th Dec 20, organized by PDEA’S College of Engineering Manjari (BK), Pune. They got a great appreciation from all judges and in this tough competition our ATL students bagged FIRST PRIZE.
It is a proud moment for DEMS. These young innovators of 9th and 8th standard are Apurv Hande, Sahil Deshpande, Romit Chavan ,Tanaya Kulkarni.
Students were guided by Science teacher Mrs. Pradnya Chikodikar. Their project wouldn’t be prize worthy without the valuable and timely guidance of Principal Ma’am Mrs. Renuka Datta and Supervisor Mrs. Mugdha Abhyankar. Our sincere thanks to Mugdha Kulkarni (ATLIncharge) and Shalu Ma’am for her technical advice. Management has also appreciated the work of our students.
Congratulations Students and DEMS ATL team!!!!
