INNOVIZION – Science Tinker Fest Competition cum Exhibition

Zeal Education Society’s Dnyanganga English Medium School organised INNOVIZION – Science Tinker Fest Competition cum Exhibition on Saturday 22nd February 2020 at Zeal Institutes, Narhe, Pune. Schools from Pune, Baramati, Kolhapur and other parts of the State participated enthusiastically exhibiting more than 75 Science and Technology (ATL) based static and working models in various categories from STD VI to IX.

Innovizion Science Tinker Fest Competition cum Exhibition is to provide an apt ambience to the young budding scientist to express their scientific ideas and transform it into a product for the welfare of the society. The event was graced by eminent expertise from the field of Science and Technology. Chief guest Dr.Shriniwas Bhogle, honorary scientist at CSIR- Fourth Paradigm Institute, appreciated the efforts put in by Zeal and DEMS. He also appreciated the scientific zeal in the students who displayed their projects and brought laurels to their schools. Mr Rohit Kumar, technology leader in the areas of Analytics for IBM and prominent mentor for ATAL Tinkering Labs; Mr.NitinKelkar, a leader and expert from IBM and Mr.Ashwin Agarwal, President of Phi Education Solutions Pvt. Ltd. also graced the Competition cum Exhibition and boosted the spirit of scientific inquiry among the budding scientists.

Many associates of Zeal and Principals attended the event providing moral support to the participants. The competition was well-judged by Mr. Rohit Kumar, Mrs.Dipti Kulkarni and Mr.Sanjeev Ghosh. Trophies, cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners. The event was well organised under the guidance of Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar, Secretary Mr. Jayesh Katkar, Executive Director Mr. Pradip Khandave, Principal of DEMS Mrs. Renuka Datta. All the participants were congratulated for their enthusiastic participation in the event. The day ended leaving mesmerising memories for one and all.
