News of Teacher’s Dance competition
A woman is an epitome of beauty, wisdom and care. She has the capacity to do things that even a man who claims to be braver and powerful than women cannot. International Women’s Day celebrates the power of women, their rights and role in our lives and Society.
Yuva Programme and Sports Ministry, Gov. of India, Nehru Yuva Kendra Pune and Nandkishor Kapote Cultural society of Pune organized cultural Dance competition on account of International Women’s Day.
The teachers of Dnyanganga English Medium School not only participated but also bagged the 1st prize for folk Group Dance (Gavalan) and 2nd prize for Classical Kathak Group Dance.

Mrs.Ubale (Director – Mahila and Balvikas Kalyan Directorate) Mayor of Pimpri-Chinchwad glorified this golden movement with their presence and carried out the prize distribution ceremony.
Founder Director Mrs. S.M. Katkar sir commended all the winners and their mentors. Executive Director Jayesh Katkar, Principal of DEMS Renuka Datta and teaching and non-teaching staff appreciated the teachers and their dance performances too.
