DEMS celebrated Annual sports Day

Sports teaches us, “Failure is the first step towards success.”

DEMS celebrated Annual sports Day on 18th & 19th January 2019 at our Narhe campus. We began with welcoming our Chief Guest, Mr.Swapnil Kusale, a shooting champion, Guest of honor Mr.Omkar Pawar Chattrapati Krida awardee and Wushu champion, Mr.Sachin Kale – Assistant Education Officer of PMC.

The inaugurated was done by releasing colorful balloons and beautifully decorated placards with school‘s name written on them.

Other dignitaries like Mr.Yatin Shrivardhankar – General Manager of Lakshya Sports Academy, Founder Director of Zeal Education Society Mr.  S. M Katkar, Secretary Mr. Jayesh Katkar, Mr.Rakesh Katkar Principal of DEMS Mrs. Renuka Datta, supervisors, teachers, Students and parents were also present for this event.

A melodious welcome song was performed by the school choir. Different performances like Malla khamb, Lezim, etc. were performed by the students. Guests praised and appreciated the performance of the students and the efforts put in by the entire staff.

Students of Std I to IX enthusiastically participated in individual and team sports events. There was enthusiasm among the audiences too. As the budding athletes of DEMS ran for the finishing line, the school campus resonated with enthusiastic cheers from the spectators.

The prize distribution ceremony followed immediately after the Sports day. The winners of the events were awarded with prizes by Founder Director of Zeal Education Society and Principal of DEMS. The best house for the academic year was declared at the last and the winning trophy was awarded to BUDDHI HOUSE.
