As aptly mentioned in the above quote, the teachings of a teacher can continue to inspire minds for a lifetime. The positive influences of a teacher can have a profound effect in shaping the future of a student.
A teacher can mould a student’s life and bring about radical changes in thought and actions of a student. A life without a teacher is like an aimless wanderer’s life. However, with the help of a guided support, students can achieve success in every aspect of life. A teacher teaches values and principles that help a child to remain sane in the society and lead their life driven by strong ethics. An ideal teacher does not teach a child what to see, he/she teaches how to see! Hence, the child develops his vision under the guidance of his teacher who prepares him/her to face the challenges that he/she may encounter throughout the journey to success.
Pre-primary Section– DEMS has a separate section for Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG named after fruits and flowers. The children enjoy playing in the toy room where they have a great time. We follow the play way and project method to ensure that knowledge imparted is received with fun by the children. In order to help children be attached to our cultural roots, we conduct activities as Dindi, Deep poojan, Dahi Handi, Raksha Bandhan, Bhondla, Diwali, Christmas, etc. A fancy dress based on the theme Great Freedom Fighters was conducted on the Independence Day too. This is termed as experiential learning where the students learn concepts by experiencing them or more precisely through reflection on doing things by themselves. We aim at transforming young minds into intellectual, global citizens.
