DEMS PROPAGATES ‘ROAD SAFETY’

In association with the Traffic Police Department and the Police Department, Zeal Education Society’s Dnyanganga English Medium School kicked off the ‘Road Safety Week’ from 20th Jan 2017 in a grand fashion. We organised a Road Rally of students displaying banners carrying messages regarding the safety rules to be followed by the pedestrians as well as those on vehicles. The rally ended at the Manik Baug signal. Students presented street plays at different signals about road safety, so that people could be made aware of the traffic rules to be followed. During this rally, the students tied badges displaying messages like ‘Stop at the signals’ and ‘I will follow traffic rules’ on the chest of people who violated the traffic.
To boost the morale of our students, Founder Director Hon. S. M. Katkar, Principal Mrs. Renuka Datta and Supervisor Mr. Rajesha Makandar joined this rally as well. We are thankful to the Traffic Police Department and the Police Department for their cooperation.
